This is a story of a very special Vaisakhi of 1699. This book is a small attempt to share the historical Vaisakhi events with young Sikh readers and is written to be read out aloud to the younger children. The account of the day’s events are factual and based on various historically accepted resources. The author has taken the liberty to tell the story through the eyes of a young boy named Satveer Singh, son of Bhai Daya Singh Ji. However, very little is known about Bhai Daya Singh Ji’s family and the author was not able to substantiate whether Bhai Daya Singh Ji had any children. This assumption is fictional. The conversations depicted in the text are also imaginary.
